Goal Setting & Decision Making

March 19, 2014

I'm not sure if setting goals and making decisions gets any easier when you're an adult. But I do find myself following most of the guidelines that I teach my students.

I have uploaded the links to 14 activities and worksheets from the  File Drawer.

I begin with the reading comprehension strategy, Goal Setting & Decision Making Wordsort, which will help students activate prior knowledge.

You can learn more about using and creating Wordsorts on the Reading Comprehension page.

The following activities and worksheets are also  available:

Prioritize goals on the  Wish List

Connect goals to values on the  Personal Value Grid

Practice how to make specific goals on What I Really Want

Identify the different types of Personal Goals

Identify the types when Making Decisions

Identify the types of resources on Matching Resources

Follow the steps to decision making on the  Problem Solving assignment

Solve the Setting Goals and Making Decisions Crossword Puzzle
